Featured on Wedding Chicks!

I was featured on Wedding Chicks this week! Wedding Chicks is one of the few the go-to sources for impeccable wedding inspiration. I'm very excited to be a part of it. This feature was about pairing a birdcage veil with a vintage 1950's tea-length dress. So adorable!

Emily's face is all over the wedding scene, you know. That photograph has always been one of my favorites from the moment I saw it.

Front Page!

Today I accomplished one of my major goals for my Etsy shop - be featured on the front page! Technically, it was yesterday, New Years Eve, but it didn't show up in my Google Analytics until today. Hooray! You can see the featured item here.

Thanks again for the beautiful work from Chris Blackburn. Local brides definitely need to get him lined up!

Featured in ReadyMade Magazine

I made a few ring books several months ago. I thought they were smart, quaint, and quite pretty. I listed them, and they both sold within days to wonderfully unique brides who appreciate detail (and literature).

I received an email today that this ring book was featured in the ReadyMade blog. Lindsey's wedding was featured as a simple wedding that is centered around family and each other. Lindsey says, "I knew right off the bat there would be no tuxedos involved. I really wanted the feeling to be sophisticated, yet casual. Both Todd and I are pretty laid back, and I think we wanted the wedding to reflect that." If you don't know ReadyMade, you live in a box. It is a hip design magazine centered around DIY and urban living. Its a big deal. Seriously.

In the article, they chose to show my book as "the perfect etsy find"! Quite flattering, I must say.

The books will be back in shop. I promise. Thanks to Emily for finding this particular beauty at Weller's Books in Salt Lake City.

Cherry Blossom Pie

Featured again over at Inventing Weddings. I still absolutely adore their blog. Thanks girls!

They featured my Avery veil, which I made for Lindsey. It is white, waist length, two-tiered, and has a lovely satin cord edge. Lindsey's pictures are so beautiful, and it definitely helps that she and her husband, Blaine, are gorgeous. They are like Ken and Barbie! Congratulations guys! I was so happy to be a part of your wedding day.

Eat Your Heart Out...

Your Heart Out has been really good to us over the past month or so. They've taken notice of our little shop, and have passed the word around. Today, we were featured as their Local Spotlight! How great is that?! I really can't thank them enough.

I discovered Your Heart Out through my Google Analytics (referrals!), and started subscribing. I love everything about it; the restaurant reviews, the "Found in SLC" section, the great information regarding local goings-on. It makes me feel really warm and fuzzy about where I live, and that's a good thing. Help me welcome their button by clicking on the sidebar :)

Some Chicks Just Love Weddings...

Here we are again, featured over at The Wedding Chicks. Isn't it great that Emily's Photos look so chic?

Wedding Chicks is already a favorite spot on the sidebar.
